Scott Allen Bess, 45, of the 900 Block of Lititz Pike, Warwick Township, has been under investigation on suspicions of possessing child porn for months, according to Northern Lancaster Regional police detectives.
He was arrested for four felonies: sexual abuse of children, child pornography, and two counts of criminal use of a communication facility, police say and court records confirm.
He was released from the Lancaster County Prison on $100,000 in bail the same day he was arrested, May 12, court records show.
His preliminary hearing has been scheduled before Magisterial District Judge Edward A. Tobin at 9:30 a.m. on June 6, according to his court docket.
